The American Sign Language Club's mission is to create a place for all students who wish to learn more about American Sign Language (ASL), the Deaf community and Deaf culture.
Every month, we will have one on campus day- to learn new signs, play games, or learn about Deaf culture- and one off-campus club event. At off-campus events, the ASL Club gets together with the ASL Clubs from the other district 204 high schools for Silent Meals. Silent Meals are events at local restaurants where students have the opportunity to use their signs in the community.
ASL Club is a great opportunity to practice ASL! You don't even need to be in an American Sign Language class!
